The Philippine Canine Search and Rescue Association, Inc. was organized with the following missions:
- To provide highly-trained Search Dog Teams for Search & Rescue Operations specifically:
- Area Search - locate any human scent in the area, usually after natural disasters like earthquakes or landslides.
- Cadaver Search - locate dead bodies or human decomposition such as tissue, blood, or bones.
- Urban Disaster Search - locate disaster victims buried in rubble from collapsed buildings usually earthquakes or bomb attacks.
- Trail Search - locate people missing in forests, mountains, and urban areas.
- Water Search - help police find homicide and drowning victims or human decomposition which emanates from under the water.
- To provide Trainings for working dogs geared towards Search & Rescue Missions including organizing Tests and Certifications for Search Dog Teams in the Philippines
- To promote knowledge, interest, and use of trained dogs for Search & Rescue missions.
