"We are the members of Philippine Canine Search and Rescue Association, Inc. We are ordinary people with extra ordinary passion to help you find your lost love ones. We are not bound by culture, religion nor politics. We are bound by one common goal, that is, to save human lives!"
It started out as a dream by two mountaineers/dog breeders. Their philosophy was, dogs equal humans in the search for perfection in all aspects - - BODY, MIND, EMOTIONS, and SPIRIT. Neglect one, and he may not become all that he otherwise could be: intelligent, skillful, a breed model, correct structure, stable temperament, balanced genetic breeding.
Their aim then was to CHANGE Filipinos' outlook towards dogs. That dogs OUGHT to be respected and their talents recognized, especially in the field of Search and Rescue. That they can be MEN'S PARTNERS in the SERVICE FOR HUMANITY.
They shared this dream with Renee Speltz, wife of the Ambassador. She and the Ambassador committed themselves instantly for life to this dream for they share the same advocacy. Both their commitments then gave light to what was once a distant dream. Without their support, the first step could not have been made.
And they shared this dream with other friends. They committed themselves too, without a doubt. All these commitments, then, led to the establishment on the 9th of February, 2003, the PHILIPPINE CANINE SEARCH & RESCUE ASSOCIATION.
From there, their journey begins...
